In the programme, environmental and health education are viewed from a societal perspective. The programme deals with issues relating to a broad range of settings and educational challenges: from kindergarten over primary and secondary school to adult education as well as a number of institutional settings in society at large.
The focus of the programme also includes an international dimension, where Danish traditions and conditions are compared and confronted with those of other countries and cultures. Research within the programme is undertaken in collaboration with a number of research institutions in Denmark and abroad.
