Hanoi National University of Education works in partnership with the ASEM LLL Hub to organise the Seminar on 'Professionalisation of Adult Teachers and Educators in ASEM countries' on 12 October 2010. 50 Vietnamese national educationalists, experts in teacher education and training and 15 international professors, university teachers in the field will meet and exchange perspectives and share experiences in professionalising adult education and adult teacher training.

At the seminar, the Research Network Coordinator, Professor Ekkehard Nuissl will launch the book entitled Teachers and Trainers in Adult and Lifelong Learning: Asian and European Perspectives edited by Regina Egetenmeyer and Ekkehard Nuissl (2010). The book is one of the results of the ASEM LLL Conference on Professionalisation of Adult Education in June 2009 in Germany.
Prior to the seminar, there will be a ASEM LLL Research Network Meeting on 11 October for the Member Researchers to discuss joint research projects, publications, teacher and student exchange initiatives.
